James Morrison Portsoy
Resting place of James Morrison Portsoy

Our recent Armistice Day exhibition here at the Portsoy Salmon Bothy attracted a lot of interest, including a couple who travelled all the way from Aberdeen! Bill Morrison’s uncle was James Morrison, who was 21 when he was killed in France on 10th February 1915. He was brought up by relatives at 3 Culbert Street in Portsoy after the death of his parents. Really brings home the sacrifices that were made in our honour.  Lest we forget.
